Shanell Wilson, Director of Quality Enhancement

Shanell has more than 20 years of experience working in the human services field and has been involved in developmental disability work for more than half of it.  Formerly she held the position of Lead Program Coordinator for Kent Center, and has been with the company for two years.  In her role as Director of Quality Enhancement, she oversees the implementation of Person-Centered Plans for every adult who is supported by Kent Center.  She works closely with our partners at the county, regional and state level to ensure that quality support is delivered to every member of our team, and those receiving support. 


cguest circle Cliff Guest, Director of Community Living

Cliff was born and raised in Baltimore and has lived in Providence, Rhode Island for the last 3 years.  When not working, he enjoys playing and coaching Rugby, cooking and traveling. Cliff earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Communication from the University of Baltimore and has over 10 years of experience in Human Services. His goal is to use his education and experience to enhance the quality of programming for everyone served by the Kent Center while supporting all employees and colleagues.  In his role, Cliff oversees fourteen community living homes throughout Kent and Queen Anne's Counties, as well as the staff that provide support in those homes.

Arthur Williams, Director of Meaningful Days

Arthur has lived in Maryland for over 15 years.  He graduated with his bachelor's degree in psychology and has supported the field of human services for over 26 years. In his career, Arthur has had the privilege of working with many different types of people with disabilities. Arthur feels that he is a servant to the cause of making sure each person has a meaningful day to ensure them a meaningful life. He is very excited to join the team at the Kent Center and to get to know the people who are supported by programming and explore new innovative ideas so that we can provide quality services.  Arthur works with his team to delivery quality support to those people receiving programming in Employment Services, Personal Support Services and the Meaningful Day program.

Lindsey Buckless, Co-Director of People and Culture

Lindsey came to Chestertown 17 years ago to attend Washington College.  While at school Lindsey met her future husband, Tim, and they decided to stay in Chestertown after college.  Formerly holding the position of Supervisor of Supported Employment she gained firsthand knowledge of the people we support and the barriers they face, Lindsey was previously employed with Rebuilding Together.  She is excited about her new role at Kent Center and is looking forward to reintroducing Kent Center to our community.  Lindsey works closely with our fundraising partners to plan and execute exciting events that raise awareness about the Kent Center msision, as well as increase giving to the cause. 


cwilliams compressed circle Courtney Williams, Co-Director of People and Culture

Courtney is a Kent County resident and grew up on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.  Previously, Courtney held the role of Director of Administration with Kent Center since February 2019 and was able to focus on streamlining employee onboarding and education.  She received her bachelor’s degree from St. Mary’s College of Maryland in Economics and Public Policy.  She is excited to elevate employee appreciation and morale for the Kent Center, working jointly with her peers on the Executive Team.  Working jointly with Lindsey, Courtney supports current employees with HR related issues as well as directing recruiting efforts for the company.

 Larry Wilson, Chief Morale Officer

Larry has been employed with the Kent Center since 2013, previously holding positions in Supported Employment.  Mr. Larry brings a lifetime of experience and the respect of staff, people we support, families and community partners.  He is excited in this role to continue to improve the lives of the people we support by being a direct line to employees and helping to grow the team.  An active member of the community, Larry is also the President of the Board for Sumner Hall, one of two existing African American G.A.R. buildings still standing in the United States and the only one offering regular programs.
